Well I have certainly admitted publicly and privately that I got well and truly baited by the PA PR gang yesterday Val Duane and it cost me an evening of gaming. I came home wanting to shoot enemies and ended up ranting with irritating people. There is a cautionary tale there I think. That said, there are boring moments in the war where typing on the forums helps to break the monotony. I was trapped for about 24 hours in that system where PA outblobbed us at the weekend and since I didn't fancy suiciding my wounded Raven past 50-70 angry PA what else was there beyond watching my ship slowly burn? ')
I would say don't take these forums as gospel though Val Duane. There is a lot of fighting going on and this is a big war with many battlefronts. PA lost many ships yesterday in small actions round the clock and small scale attrition is where the coalition is strong. PA like their lag-blobs but once the fighting is smaller and more localised they begin the suffer badly.
And as for the variety of kiling going on well, I am (I-think) pretty much counted the worst forum ***** in the coalition (with one or two exceptions perhaps) and since the weekend my kill total is 9-2 in my favour. Thats more kills than I scored in the whole of the NVA/FE war in a matter of days. (and if we accept the 600 hundred member total for the PA and the speculative 60 ship kills they claim) makes me about 90 times more effective than the average PA pilot thus far ;)
This campaign is big Val Duane, and its bad and ugly and hardcore. And many many ships will die.

But yep, hunting the PA is top fun because there are so damned many of them, its easier to find PA than Gurrista Battleship spawns thats for certain.

I have to say I am truly impressed at how big the PA actually has grown. Say whatever you want about them but they sure can recruit. I think there is enough cannon fodder in space for this war to last months Panzer. And frankly, I think thats a good thing, a regional conflict of this scale has been needed in the north for six months now just to clear bad blood and old feuds and lets face it, once people have supped at the chalice of space combat its just more exciting when there is a war on.

It looks like we are having to move the forums to another server due to the irritating dos thing. I trust everyone agrees just how lame this actually is. We certainly don't have anything like enough information to make any sort of formal accusations (and if we did it would be to the GM's) but it is pretty sad. What concerns me is that we might see this kind of tactic directed at alliance TS servers a little down the line. Can people imagine how flamable that will get I wonder?
As for the propaganda in this thread, just leave it boys, nobody cares. Bring it in-game or can it.
